King of Babylon Nebo
The Babylonian King
"Nebo the protector of the borders" is the son of Neboelauser and his background in sitting on the throne of the city of Babylon and the rule of the Babylonian Empire in Mesopotamia and Syria. His father founded the new Babylonian state six 625 BC. Ending the Assyrian empire. Thirteen years later Nineveh fell, surrounded by Neboplaser king of Babylon and Kyaxiris king of Madi. He attacked Pharaoh Nakhu, king of Egypt and Palestine, to protect Egypt's interests in southern Syria and fought the king of Judah in Megiddo in 608 BC. And kill him in battle. He did not convince Nakhu to own Palestine, but returned to Egypt and prepared a new army to bring him to the Euphrates and cut the road on the Babylonians and seize the legacy of the Assyrians. Nebuchadnezzar sent his son, Nebuchadnezzar, to stand in the face of Nakho, and he glorified the name of Nebuchadnezzar when he launched his military experience by defeating Nakho and his army with him from the Syrians and killing thousands of them in the incident of Qarqamish in 605 BC. Nebuchadnezzar seized his property behind him, in Syria and Palestine. He came to Jerusalem and captivated some of its inhabitants, including Daniel and his companions, but as soon as he reached his father's obituary he hastened to return to Babylon and proclaimed himself the successor to his father in the year 605 BC. Nebuchadnezzar not only occupied Jerusalem and took some of its inhabitants as prisoners, but ordered his men to take other groups of the population and transfer them to Babylon, from Jerusalem, Phenicia and Egypt, and continued to rule the land of Judea and receive taxes, for three years. It was then owned by Jehoiakim and in the year 602 BC. But Nebuchadnezzar quickly defeated his enemies, and returned to Palestine to Jarrar, occupied Jerusalem, and destroyed the revolution. Jehoiakim was arrested and then released and appointed a new king in his place, Jehoiakin, but Yehoyakin revolted from Nebuchadnezzar came again for the third time and conquered the city and took the inhabitants to Babylon, and took over the house of the LORD and its contents. Nebuchadnezzar lay a king, and changed his name to Zedekiah. Zedekiah kept his allegiance to Nebuchadnezzar for eight years, but in the ninth year he was greedy for independence, having learned that the Egyptian army was approaching his kingdom. I hoped that the army would help him against the Babylonians, but Nebuchadnezzar did not neglect him. He occupied Jerusalem for the fourth time, after a severe siege, and killed my son Zedekiah in front of their father, then took his eye and carried him captive to Babylon in 587 BC. Nebuchadnezzar burned the Temple of the Lord, and took thousands of inhabitants to Jeremiah. He foretold what happened. Nebuchadne recommended it. Nebuchadnezzar besieged Tire and the other cities of the Phoenician coast. He was brought back to central Syria, the Amorites and the Moabites, and then conquered Egypt in 567 BC. In the rest of his life, Nebuchadnezzar carried out other conquests, of which we have no details. It was his habit to move the people of his empire from place to place to ensure their loyalty and use their strengths in its construction projects. The problem of this pattern is the factor of the inhabitants of the city of Jerusalem and managed to build palaces, cities, walls, castles and many structures, the effects of which still bear witness to the growth of urbanization under his reign. The building is attributed to the construction of hanging gardens and digging channels for irrigation from the waters of the Shatt al-Arab. Daniel the king of kings called it Nebuchadnezzar.
