Damascus has ten old doors

The city of Damascus has 10 doors located on the old wall of Damascus, which was built in the Greek and Roman covenants, to protect the population inside the fence, the city can be reached only through these doors.
In the Roman era, the city wall had seven doors, but on the western wall, the doors were increased and decreased as they renovated the fence, and opened doors and opened other doors so that they did not exceed 10 doors. These doors are:
1_ab Touma, is located in the north-eastern part of the old city near Al-Qasa'a neighborhood.
2_Abab Al-Jabiya, located on the western side of the old city at the entrance to Medhat Pasha market currently.
3_ab Kisan, located at the south-eastern end of the Old City near the industrial zone and the former Jewish Quarter and Dawar Hassan Al-Kharrat outside the walls of the Old City. (Turning the door into a church)
4_ Bab al-Salam, located to the east of Bab al-Faradis on the turn of the fence, makes its direction towards the east.
5_ Al-Faraj, located on the northern side of the city wall, between the modern and the tunnel.
6_ East Gate, located at the eastern entrance of the old city of Damascus, is the only one that retains the style of its Roman architecture.
7_Abab al-Faradis, (also known as Bab al-Amara)
8 _ small door, located on the southern side of the city near the neighborhood of Shagour.
